Captain Crunch (Super Hero)

Assume that comics and movies are accurate, and that the premise, "Sometimes regular people get super powers through chance accidents that would kill most others" is true.

The super powers, by very definition, are going to be neat, but will they always be spectacular? For every accident that results in a human torch, there's certainly one with more mundane consequences, such as a man with a new found ability to turn Fruity Pebbles into Cocoa Pebbles. Less dramatic than turning into fire itself, but no less super.
